| BAJO was founded in 1993 by Wojciech Bajor - a sculptor and architect – who also gives lectures on sculpture and architecture at the University is Cracow. In cooperation with Polish and German friends, he formed a group committed to seeking new projects.
The company now has a couple of hundred designs for wooden toys for children of various ages. Those include Wooden Infant Toys, Wooden Lacing Toys, Wooden Educational Toys, Toys for Rehabilitation purposes as well as Wooden Children's Furniture.
The factory is to the south of Cracow, Poland, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. Fourteen different kinds of wood are used in the production of these toys. The carefully chosen timber comes from local woods and orchards. |
